A source is one unique API from an application. Most applications, like Salesforce and HubSpot, have a single API, so the application is the source. Some applications offer more than one API. Each one counts as a separate source. For example, SAP Ariba has several APIs, such as Procurement, Sourcing and Supplier Management. Each is its own source.
A source-instance is one account connected to a source with its own API credentials. If you connect two Salesforce instances, that’s two source instances. Your price is based on how many source-instances you connect.
Each connection is on a schedule that loads data from a source-instance into your destination. You can have any number of connections to your source-instances.
Data sync responsiveness is rate limited by the source but we'll get it to you as fast as we can.
